Plan2Place Consulting assisted the DELWP Water Group to develop new integrated water management provisions for the Victoria Planning Provisions (VPP), built on the recommendations of the Stormwater Advisory Committee in late 2018. The outcome included drafting and the finalisation of new planning provisions for integrated water management policy, as well as provisions for all non-residential development and multi-dwellings in Victoria.

Plan2Place Consulting drafted and refined the new provisions, prepared supporting VC Amendment documentation and developed content for the Advisory Note announced through Amendment VC154 in October 2018.

Working closely with the DELWP Water Group Project Manager, DELWP Planners and the Advisory Committee, Plan2Place Consulting provided guidance on the available options for VPP tools, technical aspects of implementation of various tools and practical drafting advice as they framed their requirements. Ongoing consultation with Councils and State Government stakeholders led to a high degree of stakeholder buy-in.
