Paul Buxton was asked to provide a witness statement and act as an expert witness at the Planning Panel for Banyule’s Amendment C120.

The project involved the preparation and giving of expert evidence on strategic and statutory planning matters to the Panel for Amendment C120 to the Banyule Planning Scheme.

This evidence involved explanation of Amendment C120, its foundations in the Postcode 3081 Urban Design Framework (UDF), an overview of submissions, explanation of the changes to the Amendment and an expert opinion about whether the Amendment was appropriate or not. Paul was able to draw on his nearly 30 years of experience in the planning profession along with his extensive understanding of the planning system and the most appropriate tools to provide expert advice.

The Panel affirmed Paul’s expert opinion on strategic and statutory planning matters given to it in its discussion and recommendations on the Amendment.
